The amazing and incomparable child star soloist, Uziah Tzadok was in Los Angeles when the devastating news of three boys being kidnapped came out. I met Uziah on that Motzei Shabbos. I had never met Uziah before, and it was interesting to me that he felt closer to the boys as he was also Dati Leumi and lived in the same area as they. The mood was murky and depressing. As I sat down at the piano, the words Shomer Yisrael immediately came to mind, and from there it just flowed.
