About vebachanuni:

I am always fascinated when I hear or read the Posuk in Malachi where Hashem uncharacteristically tests the Bnei Yisrael; “U’vechanuni Na B’Zos”. Hashem is literally challenging his Children, “Just tryme. Give sustenance to my poor children among you, and in return, I will shower you with Beracha to the point that you can’t take it anymore”. I think those are pretty solid odds. I would, and do, take them everyday. But I’ll tell you the real test. We live in a society today where we expect instant gratification. If we try something and it doesn’t immediately work, we tend to quit. But if you truly do believe, you can’t consider it to be testing Hashem by giving it till the end of the day at which point you throw your hands up. Test, Give, Test and Give, continuously, and eventually you’ll win. There’s no doubt about it.

His voice reaches higher towards Shamayim than any other voice in Jewish music, coupled with a sweetness that is so inspiring. Thank you Ohad for your high voice singing about very high odds..
